Jeffrey Purtell

Jeffrey Purtell, LMT, CPT, is a massage therapist based in Hamden. He is NASM certified in corrective exercises and personal training. He is also experienced in Thai massage, stretching, percussion therapy, Rocktape and Rockblades.

Jeffrey is a staunch supporter of practicing massage with intention, believing that clients can tell when someone is fully engaged, as it comes across in the results. Part of Jeffrey’s process includes educating clients on the type of work he is doing for them. By giving them the knowledge they need to improve and decrease pain, he can empower clients to live better.

He started off in the world of massage by giving his brother-in-law massages to decrease his leg pain. Once Jeffrey saw the impact he could make on people’s lives, he wanted to carry that forward for others. His passion is visible in his work, and his clients can tell.
