Achieve your health goals with us
Personal Training | Golf Training | Group Classes
Our certified personal and athletic trainers work with the rest of the Performance team to create a custom training regimen designed to meet your needs. Whether you want to lose weight, build muscle, run a marathon or 10k, get ready for your season or generally stay fit, our trainers will get you there.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal trainers at Performance have degrees in exercise science as well as nationally accredited certifications. They design custom training programs that deliver results based on the client’s overall goals in both a one-on-one setting and a semi-private setting.
Our training services include a detailed musculoskeletal evaluation, an assessment of one’s energy systems, custom-designed program with specific goals and possible integration of recovery and optimization services such as cryotherapy, blood flow restriction and massage. Trainers look at the body as a whole and the complete picture of the client to prepare programs. They measure areas such as heart rate variability, activity levels, stress levels, sleep and caloric intake to help achieve client goals.
Incorporating wearable technology
We encourage our clients to bring in any fitness trackers or wearables they have, as they are excellent tools to use before, during and after workouts to track progress. If you would like some guidance, our trainers will educate you on how to make the most of them.
One-on-one
Our one-on-one training sessions are offered in 30-minute and 60-minute increments. Every training client receives a full, in-depth musculoskeletal evaluation. A trainer will assess how their body is moving and identify any areas that are weak or injured. The trainer takes your entire lifestyle into account including quality of sleep, eating habits and stress levels. The goals are created collaboratively with the trainer, client and any other healthcare provider so that optimal performance is achieved.
Semi-private
Semi-private training sessions are two to four clients exercising together. Prior to being put in a semi-private group, each individual is evaluated by a member of our clinical team for level of ability and any physical limitations. After the evaluation, our team huddles to discuss the design of the program.
The lead trainer curates programming that varies daily based on the individuals in that group setting. This assures a customized program for each individual, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes from the sessions.
SPORT SPECIFIC TRAINING
Sport specific training enhances overall performance, improve areas of weakness and reduce potential risk of injury. Each exercise aims to stimulate a movement with the intention of it transferring to the playing field. Sport specific training also includes conditioning drills to prepare the athlete for the physiological demands of competition.
Our team works with athletes from variety of backgrounds, including football, crew, baseball, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, swimming & diving, water polo, golf, racquet sports, track & field, marathons, triathlons, and more. Whether you are looking to become the football star of the season or run your first 5k race, our experts will help you achieve your goal.
Performance also offers tennis- and golf-specific training programs, as well as access to a golf simulator powered by TrackMan technology.
Golf Training
Our golf programs are created and executed by physical therapists certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Our tailored approach includes a detailed musculoskeletal assessment of how your body is moving both on and off the course, curation of a program that fits your individual needs and goals and an arena to put practice into play year-round: practice makes permanent, especially in the off-season.
Marathon Training
From novices to experts, our team helps runners prepare for their next race — be it a 5k, marathon, IronMan, or anything in between. Our physical therapists and personal trainers work in tandem with our RRCA Running Coaches, recovery experts, nutritionists and mental performance consultants to create a comprehensive plan designed to prevent injury and improve your personal record.
SMALL GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
Our group classes consist of four to six clients, and programming is predetermined based on the theme and goal of the class. This is what you might see in your “Big Box” health clubs, but the main difference at Performance is the class size is limited to 6 individuals. This ensures that clients receive personalized attention and enjoy support from a tight-knit community.
Unlike typical group classes where participants all complete the same exercises, regardless of their ability or physical limitations, we work to curate exercises based on our clients' exact needs and limitations.

FAQs
How long is each workout?
The training sessions typically are offered in 30 minute or 60-minute time frames. The evaluation component is always 60 minutes. Once the evaluation is complete, the trainer will recommend which time duration is best for the client, based on goals and any current limitations or current injuries.
How often should I work out with my trainer?
Adults should do muscle strengthening activities of moderate or greater intensity and that involve all major muscle groups on 2 or more days a week, as these activities provide additional health benefits. Several studies support the importance of strength training for overall health and longevity.
Can I train with a friend or a group of friends?
Yes. Our semi-private offerings are geared toward those who benefit from working out with friends. This helps accountability.
Can I schedule an at-home training session?
Yes! Our licensed personal trainers can provide one-on-one training or group training in the comfort of your own home.
